Interstates and freeways are indeed the fastest way to get somewhere. 'My' speed limit was as fast as I could make it. And what helps are the semi trucks going by and creating a draft of wind that literally pulls me. Just don't ride too close to those jarring indentation strips along the white stripe. It may be a wakeup call for wandering drivers, but it's a non-welcome bone/bike JARRING experience for the two-wheeler rider, let me tell ya...
