Fly from Cusco to Lima, Peru, then fly to Quito, Ecuador.

Not much to report. It was a travel day. Gathered up our belongings at the hotel in Cusco, hopped on a shuttle bus to the Cusco Airport, one hour flight out of the Andes and down to Lima, Peru, on the coast, one hour layover, two hour flight to Quito, Ecuador… and all the check-in/check-out, security/passport transition stuff between one country and the next… another one and half hour ride from the airport to our hotel in downtown Quito, check-in, short walk around town and orientation with Sofy, our new tour guide, about itineraries for the next day and our trip to the Galapagos the day after that… dinner, relax, crash… Christmas Eve, 2016.
