So there I was, driving along Artists Drive, when I catch movement on the rocks to the left. Quick brakes, reverse.. yeah, it was still there. Peggy hands me the camera.. one shot, because I was backin' up traffic. Size: end-to-end about 1'6", girth at large part of belly... I might have been able to touch my opposing thumbs and middle fingers. Internet research identifies it as a Common Chuckwalla.
