| We leave from Sacramento, CA International Airport on August 24 at 10:22 AM for Portland, Oregon. After a layover of about three hours, we board Icelandair at 3:35 PM for a 7 1/2 hour non-stop flight to Keflavik International Airport in Reykjavik, Iceland... 6:05 AM Iceland time. | |
| Having booked our trip with Outdoor Adventure Travel (OAT), we will meet up with Gulli, our local tour guide, at the airport and begin our Icelandic travel experience. First up is a coach ride along a scenic coastal route to the small town of Selfoss. After breakfast, we leave from Landeyjar Hofn Harbor on a ferry bound for the Westman Islands... my camera capturing the sights along the way. | |
