~BunceMan's Climb to Kaiser~

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

30th annual Climb to Kaiser, June 24, 2006. A bike ride from Buchanan High School in Clovis, CA, to the Kaiser Pass at 9,200 feet in elevation and back... a distance of 155 miles.

One of the most difficult rides I've ever done, despite an intense 2-month training regimen leading up to the event. Climb to Kaiser, according to Bicycling Magazine, is considered one of the 10 most difficult rides in the United States.

The Fresno Bee the next day: "Scorching temperatures, measured at 109 degrees in Fresno, proved just as large an obstacle as the steep hill climbs for participants in Saturday's 30th annual Climb to Kaiser."

Nevertheless, I did click off some pics during the event...
