This is the third time in as many years that we have toured the Pacific Northwest. With camera at the ready, I'm always on the lookout for bald eagles, which are more prevalent in the Pacific Northwest than in the central valley of California. Having the time, we decided to get off Interstate 5 on our way to Vancouver and drive through some of the outlying country roads… where we happened upon a murder of crows vying over the remains of some roadkill on the side of the road. It was then that Peggy eyed a pair of bald eagles in a nearby tree, probably waiting for their turn at the carrion below...
