 Peggy and I were packed and ready to go. We had lunch (California time) and headed to South San Francisco from Modesto via the San Mateo Bridge. We parked the car at the Inn at Oyster Point (where we would be staying for a night upon our return from Great Britain in a month) and caught a shuttle to San Francisco International Airport. Our flight took off punctually at 7:35pm. Ten and a half cramped hours later, we landed at London's Heathrow International Airport at 1:35pm London time the following day… 5:35am California time. |
