Johnston Canyon is a popular day-hike destination for 'people on tour' and Calgary locals to head for on Canada Day. So after setting up camp, we had lunch and did the same. Unlike Maligne Canyon, Johnston takes you along the walls of the canyon with an ingenious catwalk bored into said walls. Lower falls and upper falls are the main attraction.
