.July 2: From the Bow Valley Parkway to Banff, Alberta

It was only about 15km to Banff from the Johnston Canyon campground on the Bow Valley Parkway. Nevertheless, the area known for spotting wildlife did not disappoint.

Banff is another high-end tourist destination nestled in the Canadian Rockies. Stayed long enough to pick up some provisions and find a hotspot to check and send emails and update the website. Then it was off to the Tunnel Mountain campground to plug in the FED, go for a hike/bike, and otherwise hang out.
