Dalvik - Whale-watching

We took the bus north to the fishing village of Dalvik for our whale watching excursion in the Eyjafjodur Fjord. We first had to put on some red, cozy jumpsuits before heading out for about three hours on a restored fishing vessel. It was a gorgeous day with blue skies and wisps of mountaintop clouds on both sides of the fjord. The on-board crew kept a lookout for whales and would let us know one one was sighted, causing the passengers onboard to shift from side to side. Susan and I got some good shots…
