First stop on the day's itinerary was the Ocean Cluster House whose "mission is to create value by connecting together entrepreneurs, businesses and knowledge in the marine industries." Essentially, it is a group of offices located along the old port of Reykjavik working on ways to make the fishing and marine industry more efficient and sustainable, a world leader in this endeavor.

Next stop was the National Museum of Iceland, first established in 1863. Inside this well-laid-out museum were two floors of artifacts from settlements dating from the 800's AD to the twentieth century. Pictures were allowed without a flash.

The rest of the day was on our own. It was another sunny and brisk day, so we walked about enjoying the sights and city bustle of Iceland's capital.

The Hilton Hotel in Reykjavik had nine floors, accessible by elevator or spiral staircase… which from the ninth floor looking down is a bit vortexy, but cool.
