~BunceMan's TranzAmerican Bike Ride~

Log Entry #17: June 24, 2005

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Day 12: Riverston to Casper, Wyoming. Okay, Highway 26 between Riverston and Casper.. a whole lot of nothing.. perhaps I shouldn't say "nothing" for those hearty souls who like mile-high desert landscapes with weather that includes radical weather shifts, complete with lightning, thunder, and not too many amenities (quickie marts, shade..). Peggy, Fletch the Wonder Dog, and the BRP (more on that in another log), of course, are following my progress across the varying terrain of North America with precision and indispensible support (food, water, encouragement..). This log entry is being typed from the comfort of an air-conditioned room at the Holiday Inn Express outside of Casper.

Here are the links of highlights from today's ride across the nothingness of Wyoming...

Day 12 mileage: 124 miles | Peggy Pics | Shoshoni | Another Road Hazard | Some Things in Nothing | And on today's Roadkill menu...
