Day 34: Intercourse to Newtown, Pennsylvania. Took some time to cruise through the backroads of Amish country in eastern Pennsylvania. The land is hardy and well-maintained.. and the people seem to take pride in their lifestyle. As I rode past a number of horse-drawn buggies, I waved.. they waved back.
The TranzAmerican team rolled to the edge of eastern Pennsylvania with one thing on their minds: to get to a destination where there would be one day left to reach the Atlantic shore. Looking back on previous logs, it seems like so long ago. With an eye on the weather, we hope the ride will finish tomorrow...
